Sewing machine presser foot

Not so long ago I had to change my sewing machine. ( Nothing big happend, just a little bit of maintenance.) At home I own two more machines and one of tham is a small Privileg machine. After a while of use I've noticed that this machine had a different presser foot.

This presser foot had a small lever on its back. So I did what every normal person would. I pulled it.

For all of you who didn't know (and I was one of you) this is used to change the bottom part. Yes, it can be changed. And that is not all, it can be changed into a special presser foot. Designed for only one job.

Several months ago my mom got me a set of those presser foot attachments. I had no idea how to use tham, but I had tham.

Today was the day I finally figured it out. And I got to use tham. My mind was blown.

I was helping local seamstress. And one of the things I had to do was roll the hem. And that thing is so long and it takes time.
It was the perfect time to learn something new. In the kit that I have there is this 3 mm roll of lace presser foot.
It was perfect for the job.

The foot is easy to use. Pop it in, thread the material through and start sewing.

Now this all sounds nice, but it's not. I still haven't figured out how to make beginning nice, it looks like a kid is trying to sew for the first time. Second problem I had with it is that you have to be careful how to put material through. If its not aligned nicely it will slip out or it will get more than you want in. But all in all I loved it. It made the job faster.
